As an excellent traditional culture in China,incense culture is an aesthetic activity of mind and spirit,which has a very important practical value in today’s impetuous society.However,the current visual design of the incense Road culture mostly stays in the traditional visual form,lacking the innovative consciousness of the incense Road culture,which makes a communication barrier between the incense Road culture and modern people.Therefore,the author hopes to integrate traditional incense culture into modern people’s life through design in the context of current fashion,so that the cultural symbols and spirit of incense culture can continue and develop in the contemporary society.This thesis mainly analyzes and discusses the four perspectives of Incense Culture:culture,art,practicality and symbolism,and discusses how to fashion design and express Incense Culture in the context of modern society.First of all,through the historical development process of the incense Road culture,the cultural and artistic value,as well as the analysis of the definition and characteristics of fashion,to find the relationship between the incense Road culture and fashion,so as to provide the possibility for the incense Road culture to return to modern life.Secondly,it analyzes the drawbacks of the visual design of the contemporary incense culture,puts forward the construction methods of the incense culture and the contemporary fashion,and then leads to the fashion design expression form of the incense culture.Thirdly,through the analysis of the visual elements of the incense Road culture,the visual symbols are extracted from the image elements and image elements,which paves the way for the subsequent visual design.Finally,clear the design ideas,clear the crowd positioning,use modern design methods,integrate the visual elements of incense culture with contemporary fashion elements,and carry out the fashion visual design practice of incense culture from two aspects of life and entertainment.In a word,in line with the development of the times,from the aesthetic point of view of modern people,it emphasizes the integration of the visual language of traditional incense culture and the current visual language,and seeks for a new visual expression of incense culture.So as to break through people’s cognition of the traditional visual form of incense culture and promote the spread and development of Incense Culture in contemporary society.
