| English picture books convey information through pictures and words,which is suitable for injecting thoughts and emotions into them.So as to enhance students’ imagination and creativity,shape their correct World Views and Sense of Worth.English picture book reading is often used as a supplement to primary school English class.In picture book reading teaching,"Problem-Based Learning" is one of the common teaching methods in picture book reading class,and problems are also the key factors affecting English picture book reading teaching.Hence,students should not only know how to read picture books,but also know how to ask and answer questions from the picture books.However,the question of the reading class of English picture book is relatively random,and the expected effect of paying attention to the problem is not enough.Therefore,the design of an effective the Problem Chain can make the English picture book reading class play the maximum advantage.This paper studies the application of the Problem Chain in primary school English picture book reading,which is divided into five chapters: The first chapter is the introduction,which is based on the development of picture book reading teaching and the advantages of Problem Chain,and introduces it from the perspective of research purpose and significance.The second chapter is the theoretical discussion on the application of Problem Chain in the teaching of picture book reading for senior grade students in primary school,which defines the concepts of Problem Chain,picture book reading teaching and the relationship between Problem Chain and picture book reading teaching in detail,and provides a solid theoretical basis for the follow-up research on the application of Problem Chain in the teaching of picture book reading for senior grade students in primary school.At the same time,after consulting the literature,the paper introduces the research status of the Problem Chain and picture book reading teaching at home and abroad,and discusses the significance of the application of the Problem Chain in the teaching of English picture book reading for senior grade students in primary school.The third chapter is the design of the Problem Chain applied to the teaching of English picture book reading for senior grade students in primary school.The fourth chapter is the case and analysis of the Problem Chain applied to the picture book teaching of primary school English.It shows how to apply the Problem Chain to the practical teaching of picture book reading of primary school English.It explains from three stages: the design of picture book reading teaching scheme,the discussion of two classroom teaching cases taking“The Sun and The Wind” as an example,and the analysis of teaching results.The fifth chapter is the research findings and reflection,which respectively explains the research findings,research deficiencies and future research directions of the Problem Chain applied to picture book reading teaching in primary school.The study found that the use of Problem Chain in the teaching of picture book reading for senior grade students in primary school,teachers can make the picture book classroom teaching orderly and smoothly,students can maintain the enthusiasm of reading under the guidance of the problem,stimulate the awareness of exploration,the deep meaning of picture book can be analyzed and reorganized in the continuous deepening of the problem. |
