A Study On The Music Da Huange Tablature

It was compiled by Xu Shangying,a musician at the end of the Ming Dynasty.It was originally called Qingshan Qinshu,which was a masterpiece of Xu Shangying’s musical achievements in his life.It was published into a book by his disciple Xia Pu in the twelfth year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty(1643 AD)and has been handed down to the present day.The book is composed of seven parts: preface,ordinary examples,the state of the Qin in Xishan,music score,Wanfengge fingering secret notes,the rules of the left and right hands,and the rules of playing the Qin.It covers the thoughts of Qin,music score,fingering,the rules of playing the Qin,as well as the life and social background of the composer of the music score,etc.Among them,there are thirty-two Qinqu songs,which are the focus of this paper.This paper mainly focuses on the research of the music collected in Da Huange Qin Musical Score.The main content is divided into five aspects.First,the author Xu Shangying’s life and the overall characteristics of musical music are summarized.Secondly,it analyzes the theme and content of the thirty-two music collected by it.Thirdly,it describes the musical form of Qinqu;Fourth,taking Qinqu music as an example,the author Xu Shangying’s Qin theory thoughts,fingering application,playing requirements and other aspects are integrated to analyze the Qinqu art ideas conveyed in the music.Fifthly,sum up the value and influence of Qinqu.Through the exploration of these aspects,we have a comprehensive understanding and a deep interpretation of the thirty-two Qin songs included in Da Huange Qin Score.
