Portrait mirror is a special kind of mirror with plane oblique relief technique to show the decorative themes of gods,birds,auspicious animals,historical figures,chariots and horses,houses and so on.Shaoxing is the most popular one of the Han Dynasty bronze mirrors,which was mainly popular in the middle and late Eastern Han Dynasty and declined in the Three Kingdoms period.This kind of mirror is rich in content,exquisite in carving,large in shape,and has a strong sense of three-dimensional and vivid visual effect.It is unique in the history of Chinese bronze mirror development and has important historical and artistic value.This paper aims to analyze the style and pattern features of the mirror pattern composition,line,image and other aspects through sorting and thinking about the classification and source of the theme and accessory decoration on the back of the mirror from the perspective of the decoration,Then,the author explores the aesthetic characteristics of the mirror,which shows the aesthetic thought of "still round" and "order and illusion","the combination of magnificent and simple","the combination of complexity and dexterity",and finally goes into the cultural field,and summarizes the mainstream thought of Han Dynasty and the inheritance of Chu Wu culture romanticism.
