In daily learning and work, people often use multiple sensory channels at the same time to improve the efficiency and quality of actual memory.Research on attentional boost effect has found that in the distracted learning task, target detection will enhance the attention of the content presented together, and then promote the effect of memory.Previous studies have mostly focused on visual channels, but a large number of studies on multi-sensory integration have found that multi-channel information processing can enhance perceptual performance. Therefore, this study combined with the research paradigm of attentional boost effect in visual channels to investigate the influence of multi-sensory integration on attention promotion effect in audio-visual and audiovisual cross channels. This study adopts the attention promotion effect paradigm to explore the impact of target detection on memory in the process of audiovisual learning under the channel learning method.Study 1 explores the effect of target detection on memory under the condition of single-channel vision and hearing.Study 2 explored the impact of target detection on memory in cross-channel audio-visual and audio-visual learning.Study 3explored the impact of target detection on emotional memory under the condition of audiovisual channels.Study 4 adopts reading aloud and silent reading to explore whether this kind of memory enhancement exists in the learning of unfamiliar vocabulary when learning non-native language vocabulary. The results show that visual learning is better than auditory learning in single channel learning, there is no significant difference between cross channel auditory learning and cross channel visual learning, and cross channel auditory learning is significantly higher than single channel learning. There is no attentional boost effect in cross channel visual learning, but there is memory advantage caused by target detection in cross channel auditory learning. There is attentional boost effect in audiovisual learning, and there is no significant difference between two channel visual learning and cross channel and single channel learning. There is no significant difference between different learning styles in learning English vocabulary. There is no attentional boost effect in reading aloud and silent reading. The memory enhancement caused by target detection can regulate the learning effect of silent reading. The experimental results are the same as the experimental hypothesis. The conclusions are as follows: in the audio-visual channel learning, target detection promotes memory, high arousal emotional words have better memory performance in the target detection task, and audio-visual channel has better performance than single channel visual memory. When learning non-native words, the performance of recitation memory is better than that of silent reading, but there is no significant difference between the learning styles in the target detection task.
