Abstract/Summary:
The development of Chinese contemporary art has been more than 40 years,and the exhibition is an important part of the history of contemporary art.The exhibition shows the characteristics of art,and the study of the development of the history of Chinese contemporary art is also a study of the history of contemporary exhibition in a certain way.The establishment of the exhibition system provides a venue for the open contemporary experimental art.In the mid-1980 s,a group of critics with the "85 Art Movement" as the symbol first played the role of exhibition planning.It was not until the early 1990 s that the critic Huang Du came back to China with a name card printed with "curator",which caused a hot discussion in the art circle.From then on,the era of curators and curators as the main body came.The important exhibitions they planned not only changed the direction of Chinese modern art,but also provided a display platform for Chinese culture to compete for the right to speak on the international stage,so that China,as a local mechanism,could compete against the cultural construction of western centralism.This article will be about ten years 1989-1999 the art exhibition of case study as the basic object,hope that through this decade review of the development of Chinese contemporary art history,combined with contemporary Chinese art history and art criticism theory,using the grand brent as a representative of the new historicism method and foucault’s discourse power for Chinese contemporary art exhibition text analysis research.The significance lies in that in the special realistic context of China,the exhibition is accompanied by the historical context of the development of art history and the evolution of power relations.Main body is divided into four parts in this paper,the origin of modern art exhibition curator contrastive analysis of Chinese and western,focuses on the exhibition as the ideological culture influence on art history,China’s exhibition start and transformation,and during this decade chose the three important exhibition case interpretation and analysis,which confirmed that the exhibition as the ideological and cultural activities for Chinese contemporary art.
