Primary schools,as the main space for children’s study and life,provide a systematic education platform for children,and school brand building has become an increasingly important part of soft competition in the education market under the current social background.It is reported that school life occupies 65% of children’s total time,but the stereotyped brand image and the expression of school culture will make children have a natural resistance and boredom,and it is difficult to make them really willing to go to school,like to go to school.In order to make the pupils can more active learning into the campus life,based on children’s cognitive psychological characteristics as a starting point,to The Affiliated School of Hebei Baoding Normal as the research object,in line with to the spirit of the children,according to the small of school-age children psychological commonalities,actually from the perspective of children rather than adults perspective,the overall visual image of the campus space environment comprehensive improvement and breakthrough.Efforts to provide children with a friendly,relaxed and attractive learning environment to improve children’s cognition and learning experience in school can also promote the brand communication and promotion of The Affiliated School of Hebei Baoding Normal,and further expand the design practice of children’s cognitive psychology guidance.There are five parts in this paper.The first part summarizes and analyzes the relevant theoretical achievements and practical status quo at home and abroad,formulates research methods and clarifies the practical research direction through consulting literatures and materials.The second part of children’s cognitive psychology and analyzes the related theory of the school brand image design,on the basis of Piaget’s theory of children’s cognitive development stage,analyzed the small school-age children’s psychological cognitive characteristics and commonness,and the characteristics of children’s cognitive psychology in the school brand in the design of outstanding design case was analyzed,and summarizes the design experience of which can be reference.The third part sums up the existing problems and shortcomings of The Affiliated School of Hebei Baoding Normal through the field research.In the fourth part,through the theoretical analysis and research in the early stage,combined with a large number of cases,the design strategies and methods of primary school brand image based on the concept of children’s cognitive psychology are obtained.The fifth part combs and extracts the brand cultural connotation of The Affiliated School of Hebei Baoding Normal,integrates the school philosophy and school motto into the graphics,colors and words that meet the preferences of children,completes the design and refining of brand VI,guide and campus wall,improves the sense of identity of children and promotes the semantic communication of school brand.This paper mainly uses children’s cognitive psychology to guide the primary school brand design practice,so that the school educational,artistic,innovative,humanistic coexistence,in this way let the primary school students and other audiences to feel the sense of vitality and life of The Affiliated School of Hebei Baoding Normal.
