A Study On The Visual Features Of Photography In Family Albums

Family album as the context of popular culture is an important practice of photography,from individuals to families,and even the social memory,play a crucial role,its behind visual image reflects the rich historical and cultural connotation and photography,but also reflects the mass in the process of family photography behavior in the context of the era of history,culture,politics and values identification problem.In the history of less than 200 years since the invention of photography,history and documentary are two important representations of the medium of photography.When the public uses this medium to construct and identify themselves in culture and memories,it not only penetrates into our daily life,but also shapes the public’s aesthetic concept and behavior order.This paper takes Xi ’an Textile City area as the regional premise of the research content,and takes the family photo albums in the area as the research object.This paper analyzes the photographic images in family albums,explores the common memory and visual features of people presented by family photos,and tries to find out the motive of image production and the cultural background of The Times conveyed by these images.The first chapter explains the concept of the research object and analyzes the definition of family photography and family album.The second chapter summarizes the case of "Xi ’an Textile City Area" and classifies the family photography in this area.The third chapter starts from the classification of family photography and analyzes the visual features conveyed by the case content.The fourth chapter summarizes the functions and changes of family photo albums in Xi ’an Textile City.
