A Study Of Zhao Lengyue’s Calligrapht In His Later Years And Its Influence On My Calligraphy Creation

Zhao Lengyue is a famous calligrapher of Shanghai school.His calligraphy style is unique.In his later years,he put forward the artistic concept of "loosening the ties" and sought for himself in "having the law" and "being unable".He claimed that he did not change for the sake of "declining the law".That is to say,he insisted on "copying steles and calligraphy every day" and tried to "break the law" in his creation,which greatly changed his calligraphy style in his later years and formed a unique calligraphy style.Based on Zhao Lengyue’s specific works and the concept of calligraphy,this paper combs his artistic ideas on the basis of relevant materials,analyzes his calligraphy style characteristics and learning methods,explores the formation factors of Zhao Lengyue’s calligraphy appearance in his later years,and analyzes Zhao Lengyue’s people and art from the perspective of traditional literati.Re examine the significance of studying Zhao Lengyue’s case and the Enlightenment of studying Zhao Lengyue’s calligraphy concept on modern and contemporary calligraphy creation.
