The modern Chinese Adverb "jiu" has rich meaning and complex conditions of use.It is often used in Chinese daily life.Although the Chinese character "jiu" is also used in modern Japanese,the Japanese character "jiu" is different fr om the Chinese character "jiu".The meaning of Japanese "jiu" is limited,and it is not used frequently in daily life.Therefore,although Japanese learners may be familiar with the Chinese character "jiu",for them,"jiu" is still a difficult Chinese adverb to acquire.This paper analyzes the differences between the Chinese character "jiu" in Chinese and Japanese,and then predicts what errors Japanese learners will make based on the results of comparative analysis.Then,it collects Japanese learners’ err ors about Chinese "jiu" from HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University,and makes error analysis.In order to study the problem that HSK dynamic composition corpus can not be further investigated,this paper also conducts a questionnaire survey on Japanese learners,and finally divides the collected errors into four types: misuse,wrong order,omission,wrong addition,and summarizes the reasons for the errors.According to the research results,this paper puts forward some t eaching suggestions for Japanese learners,such as emphasizing the differences between Chinese and Japanese in teaching and explaining the differences in detail,showing common errors in class,so as to deepen students’ impression and avoid the same errors.This paper also puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of textbook compilation,such as the need to design textbooks that are not only dependent on reading.To sum up,this study analyzes Japanese learners’ errors in acquiring Chinese Adverb "jiu" from the perspective of Japanese,and puts forward some suggestions on teaching and textbook compilation,which has certain reference value for Chinese second language teachers and Japanese learners.
