Study On The Application Of Clam Powder In Chinese Meticulous Heavy Color Painting

In the era of rapid global development,the development of a country must be inclusive and inclusive.However,with the deepening of cultural exchanges between China and the west,some scholars blindly worship foreign countries to cater to the development of the times and lose themselves.Under this background,we have to explore,develop and carry forward the excellent culture of our country in order to enhance the cultural consciousness and self-confidence of Chinese people.It is in this wave that heavy color painting is rediscovered and developed by Chinese people.Throughout the ancient and modern times,heavy color painting is a form of traditional Chinese painting,characterized by neat and dense color setting.The main white pigments in China’s heavy color painting are chalk,clam powder,lead powder,gypsum,talc,crystal powder,kaolin,etc.After historical changes and baptism,clam powder is still active in Chinese meticulous heavy color painting,and its use frequency is quite high in modern and contemporary.Modern painters not only inherited but also developed and innovated the use techniques of clam powder,which enabled the inheritance and development of this ancient Chinese painting pigment.This paper will mainly combine case analysis,comparative method,literature method and image analysis method,on the basis of expounding the historical origin and production technology of clam powder,further expounds the steps of forming clam powder and the matters needing attention in painting.This paper focuses on the use techniques of clam powder in ancient times and the innovative use of clam powder by contemporary painters.Finally,through my study of clam powder,analysis and reference of excellent painters’paintings,and my experience of clam powder in creation,I further explore its unique artistic style and era value,as well as its far-reaching influence on contemporary heavy color painting.
