Research On Socialist Transformation Of Xi’an Cinema(1949-1959)

This paper takes the cinema in Xi’an after liberation as the research object,mainly focuses on the socialist transformation of the cinema in Xi’an during the period from 1949 to 1959,analyzes the changes of the cinema after socialist transformation and the characteristics presented according to the specific historical context,and thus discusses the film industry in Xi’an after socialist transformation.This paper discusses the socialist transformation process of Xi’an Cinema in three parts:The first part is the first dividing point of this paper.Through the brief introduction of the overall situation of Xi’an cinema and film screening before the socialist transformation,it discusses how to restore and develop Xi’an cinema in the socialist transformation period on the basis of national policies and policies.The second part,namely the second,third and fourth chapter,mainly studies the socialist transformation of the cinema,the film distribution industry,the screening industry and the employees of the cinema.Among them,the second chapter is the analysis of Xi’an cinema system reform and cinema construction,respectively from the reform of the management system,the way of capital sources,the change of labor relations to discuss.The third chapter focuses on the transformation of the film distribution industry and the film screening industry.The main content is that the public authorities conducted an investigation and research on the film distribution industry and the film screening industry of Xi’an according to the audience attendance rate after the review of the film,and tried to win more audiences and improve the attendance rate by centralized editing and screening,unified film arrangement and audience collection.The fourth chapter is mainly focus on after the socialist transformation of the employees,the cinema has experienced from the private to the state socialist orbit,and workers,along with the changes in the nature of the industry status has also been affected,in the process of reform,they not only get the wage and changes,also won the income and status changes.The third part is the main content discusses the film industry of Xi’an after the socialist transformation.First,it analyzes the operating situation of the cinema and reveals the specific reasons for the rapid development of the cinema in Xi’an from two aspects of operating strategy and operating results.Secondly,through a case study of the daily screening of the reconstructed cinema--Peace Widescreen Cinema,the operation and publicity effects of the cinema are discussed.Thirdly,nearly one hundred film weeks and film screening activities have been held in Xi’an,which have played a positive role in promoting the socialist construction and the prosperity and development of cultural undertakings.Fourthly,after the socialist transformation,the distribution industry and the projection industry have achieved remarkable results,which not only changed the disconnection between distribution and projection work,but also clarified and unified the relationship with the projection units,strengthened the business supervision of the projection units,and made the provincial companies and the management stations directly strengthen the management of the projection network in various ways.Fifth,when discussing the achievements of socialist transformation,it is inevitable to take individuals as the focus and cinema practitioners as the object.In the process of transformation,they get more changes in identity and psychology and how they respond to these changes.From 1949 to 1959,the private cinema in Xi’an completed the socialist transformation and realized the reform of the internal system of the private cinema.During this period,Xi’an cinema became an important part of the national propaganda organization under the dual nature of economy and politics.
