As an imported sport combining sports and art,Latin dance has developed for more than 20 years in Chinese universities.With the advancement of the times,Latin dance in the development of colleges and universities has gone through exploration,exploration,innovation and reform,deeply loved and sought after by students.As one of the main positions of Latin dance talents training,the reasonable teaching content setting plays an important role in the realization of teaching objectives and practical talents training.In recent years,a small number of Chinese Latin dancers have emerged in the international arena,but compared with international players,it is difficult for Chinese Latin dancers to gain a firm foothold in the final circle,mainly due to the cultivation and development of Latin dance talents in domestic colleges and universities.The realization of teaching objectives depends on the efficiency of teaching content.With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,it is necessary to optimize the Latin dance special course reasonably to meet the setting of training objectives.Therefore,this paper discusses the optimization of the teaching content of Latin dance in sports colleges,so as to make the development of Latin dance meet the needs of the times and provide some help for the cultivation of Latin dance talents in sports colleges.This paper takes the optimization of Latin dance teaching content as the research object,using the methods of literature review,interview,questionnaire,Delphi and mathematical statistics This paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of Latin dance teaching content in five sports colleges of Xi’an Institute of physical education and Guangzhou Institute of physical education,and optimizes the teaching content:The goal of talent training lacks specific aim,the content of teaching emphasizes skills over theory,and the number of teaching hours of theory and technology is not reasonable,the use of non-standardized teaching materials is not unified,assessment and evaluation of a single and subjective.The lack of independent teaching space leads to noisy and disturbing teaching environment,and the maintenance and repair of teaching facilities are not timely.1.The setting of talent training objectives is lack of specific pertinence,the setting of teaching content pays more attention to skills than theory,the distribution of teaching hours of theory and technology is unreasonable,the use of teaching materials is not standardized and unified,the assessment method is single and subjective.The expansibility of teaching content is not high;The absence of an independent teaching site leads to noisy teaching environment and untimely maintenance and repair of teaching facilities.Students generally evaluate the current Latin dance special teaching content,and the connection between the teaching content and employment trend is not high.2.According to Taylor’s theory of teaching content compilation,optimize the teaching content and implementation process of theoretical technology,so as to make the teaching content meet the social needs,professional discipline requirements and students’ individual development.3.By using Delphi method and mathematical statistics to sort out and analyze the teaching content indicators of Latin dance special course in physical education colleges and universities,the optimized two first level indicators of theory and technology,namely,Latin dance skills and principles,Latin dance teaching content indicators,Latin dance teaching content indicators,are selected Latin dance technical movements,body elements posture training and other 11 secondary indicators and The guiding ideology and principles of Latin dance creation,music creation and editing 27 tertiary indicators of teaching content.4.Different sports colleges and universities in the selection of teaching content can be based on the actual situation of students in each school,reference to the optimized teaching content of Latin dance theory and technology,scientific deployment of teaching content focus.5.The use of teaching methods should be in line with the optimization of teaching content of Latin dance special course in sports colleges.According to the development stage of students’ special sports skills,traditional teaching methods such as explanation method,demonstration method and tie method should be combined with modern teaching methods such as multimedia teaching method and video feedback teaching method.
