A Contrast Of Word Formation Between Chinese Language And Uzbek Language

The Uzbek people have always maintained close ties with all countries in the world.Today,Uzbekistan’s foreign policy is based on the rich experience and tradition of our people in the field of international cooperation.With the rapid development of the relationship between Uzbekistan and China,there is a growing demand for high-quality Chinese experts in Uzbekistan,as is the demand for Chinese speaking experts.Therefore,there is “a zeal for learning Chinese” in Uzbekistan.The enthusiasm of Uzbek people to learn Chinese is on the rise.Many people have been learning Chinese since childhood.These people are in great need of learning methods and materials from different channels,which is one of the significances of this study.Using qualitative research methods,this thesis attempts to compare the word formation and lexical semantic features of Chinese and Uzbek from the perspectives of lexicographic observation,literature analysis,word formation and semantic analysis,followed by a prospect of the development of lexicon in Chinese and Uzbek.It is expected that such a study can provide reference for Chinese and Uzbek teachers and students,as well as a guide for translation between Chinese and Uzbek languages.
