Abstract/Summary:
Depression is an emotional manifestation characterized by delayed thinking, decreased interest and decreased speech and movement, accompanied by suicidal ideation.World Health Organization health Statistics report, depression and anxiety are the most common mental health disorders in all regions of the world, accounting for about one in ten people worldwide.Depression could surpass heart and respiratory diseases as the leading cause of the world’s disease burden and economic burden by2030.In the increasingly fierce competition in social reform, college students lacking social experience have a higher risk of depression due to their weak psychological tolerance and self-adjustment ability, and the overall detection rate of depression among college students in China is24.3%-34.7%.Therefore,it is urgent to explore the influencing factors and developmental mechanism of college students’ depression.Looking at the research on depression, more and more researchers are paying attention to the effects of genetic and environmental interactions on depression.Based on this,a total of 301 college students(74 boys and 227girls)participated in this investigation. After given informed consents, they completed questionnaires.Professional nurses extracted 2.5-ml venous blood in EDTA anticoagulant tube(blood: EDTA = 5:1)from the participants in the study, then placed it in the refrigerator(-70 ℃),and extracted DNA and parting after three months. The results indicated that:(1)College students was significantly associated with depression, childhood abuse and subjective well-being,depression detection rate of35.5% in this study.College students’ depression and childhood abuse significant differences in parents’ marital status. The scores of depression and childhood abuse of college students in choice “Other” were significantly higher than those in choice “First marriage”.(2)The correlation analysis results showed that the dominant model of MAOA gene rs6323 were significant, specifically, the probability of depression in MAOA gene rs6323 polymorphism G/G homozygous individuals was only58.6% of G/T and T/T carriers.(3)The results of moderated mediating model showed that subjective well-being played a mediating role in the relationship between childhood maltreatment and college students’ depression and the interaction between the of MAOA gene rs6323 and THP2 gene rs17110747 polymorphism and subjective well-being was significant.Specifically.MAOA gene rs6323 homozygous G/G than G/T and T/T carriers reduced suffering from depression.MAOA gene rs6323 and TPH2 gene rs17110747 polymorphism moderated the indirect path from subjective well-being and college students’ depression.Compared with rs6323 polymorphism G/G and T/T(rs17110747 polymorphism G/G and G/T)genotypes,subjective well-being of individuals with G/T(A/A)genotype had a stronger negative prediction of depression.
