Love and marriage is an important life course for most people.However,in the current Chinese society,the marriage resistance of the marriageable youth’s subjective will collides with the social and family pressure to urge marriage,which leads to the marriage related anxiety of the marriageable youth.Excessive anxiety has a certain negative impact on the individual’s physical and psychological development.At present,most of the researches with love and marriage anxiety is from the macro perspective of sociology,only a few from the perspective of psychology.In recent years,the proportion of integrated counseling oriented counselors is increasing.In this case study,the author used narrative therapy as the main method and rational emotive therapy as the auxiliary method to conduct online psychological consulting for 25 times to a client with love and marriage anxiety.Self Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and cooperative evaluation technology was used to evaluate the counseling effect.The results showed that the anxiety and depression of the client decreased significantly,and her relationships with her parents,interpersonal communication and attitude towards love and marriage were improved to a certain extent.The counseling goal was basically achieved,which indicated that the combination of narrative and rational emotive therapy could improve the emotion and cognition of the individuals with love and marriage anxiety to a certain extent.Finally,through the analysis of the difficulties encountered in the consultation process and the response,this paper summarizes the experience of emergency response in consultation,and also discusses and reflects on the advantages and disadvantages of network consultation during the epidemic period.
