In Marx’s thought,"man" is the core research category. The individual in the sense of the individual is the most basic unit in anthropological thought, and it is also the premise and basis for realizing the meaning of the human group and the meaning of the class.Marx’s view of the individual is based on the meaning of the individual human being, proposing that the "real individual" is the core content of the materialistic view of history, recognizing the important role of the "individual" in history, and realizing the great transformation from explaining the world to changing the world.Based on Marx’s view of the individual and the critical period of China’s development today, the analysis and exploration of Marx’s view of the individual can provide theoretical guidance for dealing with the relationship between the individual and the group and clarifying the status and role of the individual. The study of Marx’s view of the individual starts from exploring the ideological origin and basic connotation of Marx’s view of the individual. From the viewpoint of ideological origin,Marx’s view of the individual is mainly influenced by the view of the individual in ancient Greece, the view of the individual in classical German philosophy, and the view of the individual in nineteenth-century idealistic socialism. From the basic connotation,Marx’s view of the individual mainly includes four aspects: first, the "real individual" is the "person in the drama" and the "playwright" of human social history;second, the individual First, the "real individual" is the "person in the drama" and "playwright" of human social history;second, the needs of the individual are the basic driving force of social development;third, the combined force of realizing individual values drives social progress;fourth, free development is the ultimate purpose of individual existence. Then, the content and basic characteristics of Marx’s view of the individual are analyzed comprehensively. To clarify the content of Marx’s view of the individual,a systematic understanding of Marx’s view of the individual is formed around clarifying the relationship between ordinary individuals and historical figures, integrating the relationship between individuals and collectives and society, and clarifying the relationship between individuals and classes, groups and individuals. In terms of characteristics,Marx’s view of the individual has the basic features of sociality, practicality, and development.Through the above analysis, the advanced and scientific aspects of Marx’s personal view are highlighted. Finally, the contemporary theoretical inspiration and practical significance of Marx’s personal outlook are studied in the context of the development of the times. In the practice of practicing Marx’s personal outlook in the new era,China constantly sums up its experience and revelation as a guide to future social practice, arguing that it should abandon the traditional Chinese group view;criticize the narrow Western view of the individual;establish a theoretical position based on the real individual;and contribute to the enrichment and deepening of the personal outlook in the new era.Marx’s view of the individual has guiding significance for the real society. An in-depth study of Marx’s view of the individual can help clarify the relationship between group development and individual development, help clarify the needs of individual survival and development in the new era,and help respect human personality and promote the free development of the individual. In general, social history is the history of individual development, and individual development is the basis of social development. Therefore, meeting individual needs and promoting individual development can promote social progress.
