Research On The Performance Analysis Of Schubert’s Lied "Der Hirt Auf Dem Felsen"

This paper takes Schubert’s lied "Der Hirt auf dem Felsen" as the research object and is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the composition from the point of view of the song’s compositional characteristics,it analyzes the composition,singing and character image to help the singer to achieve further understanding.This paper is divided into two chapters,the first chapter is the composition analysis,the second chapter is the performance analysis.The analysis of the composition in the first chapter is based on the compositional characteristics of the song,which is gradually analyzed from four aspects: form structure,the relationship between lyrics and music,Yodeling and voice part application.We can clearly understand the structure of the song,the structure of Schubert’s composition,how he combined music and poetry,how he drew elements from Austrian folk music for artistic reasons and incorporated them into his own composition.The analysis of this composition also provides a clear understanding of Schubert’s compositional characteristics,including the use of the clarinet and the layout and interplay of the three voices in the composition.The performance analysis of the second chapter is based on the analysis of the composition,combined with my own singing experience,focusing on the characterization and emotional expression of each section and the use of vocal techniques,such as the overall singing style of the song,the rhythmic and linguistic characteristics of the lyrics,etc.
