With the rapid development of China’s economy and society in recent years,there are more and more people with emotional disorders and other mental diseases in with work pressure increasing.This study takes exploring the sense of social support of patients with bipolar disorder as the theme,adopts the method of qualitative research,discusses the sense of social support and its influencing factors from the perspective of patients with bipolar disorder,and infers the theoretical model of mutual transformation of different levels of social support.A total of three interviewers were obtained by the method of purpose sampling.After collecting and analyzing the materials through semi-structured in-depth interviews and grounded theory,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)A total of 482 open-ended codes,4 relational codes(support form,support source,emotional response and influencing factors)and 1 core code(generation of social support)were obtained for patients with bipolar disorder.(2)The forms of support from the perspective of patients with bipolar disorder with different degrees of social support can be divided into three levels: material level,spiritual level and information level.(3)Patients with bipolar disorder with different levels of social support have different sources of support from the perspective: the sources of support of respondents with high sense of social support are higher than those with medium and low sense of social support.Patients with low sense of social support have less sources of social support and poor stability.(4)The emotional response to social support can be divided into positive emotion,neutral emotion,negative emotion and mixed emotion.(5)The factors affecting social support can be divided into: environmental factors,their own characteristics and important events.In the interview,all three respondents said that the environmental factors of the native family had a greater impact;Their own characteristics are mentioned in their ability to resist setbacks,which has a great impact;Important events often occur before and after the diagnosis of bipolar disorder,with different effects on them.
