| In 2017,Protagonist was published for the first time in People’s Literature,attracting wide attention from scholars.In 2019,it won the 10 th Mao Dun Literature Prize,bringing another wave of research enthusiasm,which is still popular.The popularity of Protagonist is closely related to readers’ acceptance.The popularity of Protagonist is closely related to readers’ acceptance.It is fundamental for a work to gain wide influence and meet the needs of readers.In addition,with the development of literary market consumption,the distance between readers and the work is closer,which is identical with the acceptance aesthetics emphasizing the acceptance of literature.From the perspective of the theory of reception aesthetics,this paper takes the readers of the Protagonist as the research object and the scholars’ interpretation and research of the Protagonist in recent years as the platform to sort out the reception of the Protagonist,so as to conduct in-depth analysis of the relationship between the work and readers.The study from the perspective of reception aesthetics is not only a new interpretation of the Protagonist,but also helpful for us to treat this theory more rationally.Specifically,the paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the dissemination and acceptance of the Protagonist.This part summarizes the general situation of the dissemination and acceptance of Protagonist in the past two years,analyzes the external situation and internal factors of its acceptance,and lays a foundation for further research on the acceptance of the Protagonist.The second part is the pursuit of potential readers.Starting from the meaning of the potential readers and the audience’s psychology,this paper explores the balance and fit between the text and the needs of readers through the analysis of novel themes,story-like narration and drama emotional section.The third part is the presentation of summoning structure.The wonderful content of a good work is extremely important,and the colorful form of the words also plays a finishing touch.The embellishment of the skills contained in Protagonist calls the readers to read and think,creating a meaningful world for the readers in the blank form,whether leaving suspense or stimulating imagination.The fourth part is the satisfaction of the vision of expectation.The author’s full grasp of reality and writing makes it easy for the Protagonist to be integrated into readers’ vision.The image shaping,emotional setting and implied cultural thinking expand the relationship between the work and readers from the simple to the profound.The last part is a summary of the significance of the study of Protagonist by Chen Yan.On the one hand,for the research of Protagonist opened up a broader field of vision,on the other hand,also promoted the rethinking of reception aesthetics,any theory is not the same,but in practice,constantly update perfect,expand the connotation of the self,accepting aesthetics,through the analysis of individual literary works,thereby extending the theory of the universality. |
