Research On The Application Of Elements From Dunhuang Mural In Contemporary Meticulous Figure Of Chinese Paintings

The development of Chinese contemporary meticulous figure painting has experienced the assiduous study and bold innovation of countless predecessors.Gradually found a new way to adapt to the social thought and culture of the new era.In these innovative practices,many artists have learned and borrowed from traditional culture then gradually explored new experiences and paths on this basis.This paper takes the artistic elements in Dunhuang mural as the main research object using art historical research methods such as image analysis,literature review,iconology,etc.to connect them with Chinese contemporary meticulous figure painting.Analyzes and studies the application of Dunhuang mural elements in contemporary Chinese meticulous figure painting from three entry points which are shape and color,material and technique,form and expression.Then try to find the reasons why they are widely used and express it in historical willingness,cultural,communication and artist subjectivity.Finally,put the theoretical experience summed up into my creative practice and sort out the personal practical experience in the creation during the school period in detail.
