Yun Shouping’s Sketching Of Boneless Flower And Bird Paintings

In terms of creation,we have to consider whether the combination of different kinds of natural objects is appropriate and in accordance with the laws of nature when we conceive the creation.The combination of the objects is not only the composition of the picture,but also the "intention" of the work,which means that the ultimate pursuit is to express the inner feelings with the creation.The objects of beauty from sketching are the carriers of inner feelings,and it is important to integrate these carriers into the whole picture in a harmonious way.After the draft is created,the next stage is to paint the color drafts,and to set the colors in a way that is both natural and consistent with the final effect one wants to achieve with the creation.Before that,my perception of color in Chinese painting was based on the colorful and complete coloring of Song painting,and I was interested in the "ink flowers and birds" of the Yuan dynasty and discovered the charm of ink flowers and birds.It was not until I learned about the colors of Yun Shouping’s boneless flower and bird paintings that I became very interested in them.This light and elegant way of coloring and the natural effect of the collision of water and color made me feel the vivid life of nature in his paintings,and when I tried to create my own works afterwards,I had a deeper understanding of this feeling and kept trying to create new colors in new ways,which injected new vitality into my creation.
