| The existing materials indicate that the word "boneless" was first seen in the painting on the building view of the Southern Song Dynasty.It is generally believed that the boneless painting originated from Zhang Sengyao in the Southern and Northern Dynasties.Xu Chongsi of the Later Northern Song Dynasty founded the boneless painting method combined with the painting styles of Xu Xi and Huang Quan.Boneless painting,as a kind of traditional Chinese painting,between the exquisite brush and enjoyable.Shen Zhou,Qian Xuan,Sun Long,Zhang Zhong and other painters,all have boneless painting works preserved in the world.By the beginning of the Qing Dynasty,Yun Nantian’s works focused on realism,vivid modeling,elegant and beautiful style,and the development of boneless flower and bird painting ushered in a peak period.The boneless flower and bird painting in the Qing Dynasty absorbed new techniques on the basis of inheriting tradition,for instance,Julian and Juchao at the end of the Qing Dynasty,in addition to learning the ancient painting method,combined with "collision with water and powder",which enriched the painting tradition of boneless painting.Boneless painting abandons the fine sketch of pen and ink,and dyes directly with pigment or ink,and the "accumulation" and "collision" of water and powder to express phenomenon,the contingency and light-color effect brought by the texture,it exceeds the limitations of the pen and ink in a sense.Boneless flower and bird painting is made in the form of the exquisite brush,enjoyable and the concurrently,which weren’t outlined by lines.On the basis of respect for nature and objective objects,through the subjective use of water and color or "accumulation" or "collision" techniques,it produces a very decorative texture effect,forming a wealthy and natural accidental effect,which makes the characteristics of the depiction object more prominent under the painter’s treatment.With the boneless painting as the research theme,it is not only a text research record of the process of the graduation creation of the "Valley wood" series of works,but also hopes to sort out ideas and summarize gains and losses,and to better carry out painting creation practice.This article consists of an introduction and three chapters.The introduction is a research review of boneless flower and bird painting: background,significance and the main research methods.The first chapter expounds the origin of boneless painting and the development of techniques;the second chapter introduces the origin of the creation of the "Valley wood" series of boneless flower and bird painting and the author’s understanding,application and creative perception of different techniques of boneless painting;the third chapter takes the exploration and research of different materials and techniques as the starting point,and strives to summarize the method and theory of painting and the issues and insights of themes and techniques experienced in this creation,so that it has a certain theoretical nature,meanwhile,the ability to create painting has also been improved accordingly. |
