| Because the square dance movement has a variety of styles and conforms to the physical characteristics of the middle-aged and elderly people,it is loved by many middle-aged and elderly people.The people who take square dance as an exercise program have a passion for this sport,and their love for life has increased,and their subjective well-being has increased,which has led to a more active participation of square dance enthusiasts in the square dance movement.Based on previous literature,this study investigated the actual reasons why participation in square dance exercises improved the subjective well-being of the participants.Through literature data method,questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics method,middle-aged and elderly women participating in square dance exercises are used as survey subjects to explore the relationship between square dance exercise and the subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly women,as well as the mediating effect of social support and physical self-esteem.Studies have shown that middle-aged and elderly women participating in square dance exercise have a significant impact on their subjective well-being.There is a significant correlation between square dance exercise frequency,exercise duration,exercise intensity,exercise participation form and subjective well-being(P<0.05);The social support of middle-aged and elderly women participating in square dance exercises has an indirect partial mediation effect in the relationship between exercise frequency,exercise duration and subjective well-being.The social support of middle-aged and elderly women participating in square dance exercises is in exercise intensity and exercise organization.The relationship between style and subjective well-being is manifested as a full mediating effect:the physical self-esteem of middle-aged and elderly women participating in square dance exercises does not have a mediating effect between exercise frequency,exercise intensity and subjective well-being.Participating in square dance exercises the body of middle-aged and elderly women The relationship between self-esteem in exercise duration,exercise organization style and subjective well-being is shown as a partial mediating effect.The conclusions are drawn from this:(1)Middle-aged and elderly women participating in square dance exercise can improve subjective well-being,physical self-esteem and social support;(2)Social support plays a mediating role between middle-aged and elderly women’s participation in square dance exercise and subjective well-being;(3)Physical self-esteem plays an intermediary role between middle-aged and elderly people’s participation in square dance exercises and subjective well-being. |
