| Along with our country aging and social disability population growth,to meet the needs of its life and travel,subway,as one of the important means of transport,it is necessary for the social vulnerable groups provide barrier-free travel environment,and barrier-free design is the precondition for citizens and create a good environment for travel,so the designer should shoulder their responsibilities,The popularization and applicability of barrier-free signs and facilities will be improved.Based on the travel needs of "vulnerable groups",this paper firstly integrates the design principles and elements of barrier-free signs around their travel needs,and explores the improvement scheme of barrier-free signs design based on the particularity of subway space and ergonomics.Secondly,the concept of design and disability was redefined based on the P-E structural model.From the perspectives of culture,space,senses,symbols and information,the information transmission mode of barrier-free signs was optimized,and the specific size and installation height of barrier-free signs were determined.The study found that barrier-free signs are suitable for everyone’s travel guidance signs,and mobilizing travelers’ five senses can make them have cognitive memory of the environment.Designers can also make up for physical defects according to the intervention of travelers’ five senses,balance the adaptability between travelers and the environment,and create a good travel environment for them. |
