Research On The Categories Of Diminutive In Jilin Dialect

Jilin dialect diminutive is a general term to refer to "young,small" people or things by adding suffixes " 儿 " and " 子 " to the root,prefixes " 小 " and " 老 ",and using overlapping and other grammatical construction means,which is based on the semantics of "small",and gradually spreads the semantics of "friendly affection,contempt and disgust,humorous playfulness and precious appreciation".Jilin dialect diminutive is not only a grammatical form,but also a pragmatic means.Using the three plane theories of grammar research,this article takes the diminutives in Jilin dialect as the research object,through the investigation of Changchun dialect,Jilin dialect,Yushu dialect and other diminutives in Jilin dialect,and combined with dialect dictionaries and literatures,makes a detailed study on the category of diminutives in Jilin dialect.This article is mainly divided into the following six parts:Introduction.This part mainly discusses the reasons for the topic selection,the summary of previous research results,the significance of the research,the research methods and the source of corpus,etc.The first chapter is an overview of the diminutive of Jilin dialect.This chapter mainly analyzes the definition and sources of diminutives based on previous literature data;combined with the geographical location and historical factors of Jilin Province,discusses the formation of Jilin dialects;and the division of Jilin dialects.The second chapter is the grammatical analysis of Jilin dialect diminutives.This chapter is the research focus of this article.According to the form of diminutive marks,a detailed description of the additional suffixes "儿" and "子",prefixes "小" and "老",and overlapping forms in Jilin dialect.Analyzing the grammatical function of the diminutives in Jilin dialect.The third chapter is the semantic analysis of Jilin dialect diminutives.This chapter is the research difficulty of this paper,and analyzes the semantic characteristics of Jilin dialect diminutives with examples;draws the categories of Jilin dialect diminutive suffixes " 儿 ",suffix " 子 ",prefix " 老 ",prefix " 小 " and The overlapping semantic diffusion path examines the diachronic context of the semantic evolution of Jilin dialect diminutives and the unified development trend at the synchronic level;with the help of metaphor,metonymy and grammaticalization theories,the semantic cognitive mechanism of the Jilin dialect diminutive category is discussed.The fourth chapter is the pragmatic analysis of Jilin dialect diminutives.This chapter expounds the colloquial characteristics of Jilin dialect diminutives from the perspective of style selection;summarizes the use of five co-occurring words of Jilin dialect diminutives;The pragmatic function of moderating interpersonal relationships.Conclusion.This part mainly summarizes the theories and viewpoints of this article;make self-evaluation of the research of this article,and analyze the innovations and deficiencies of the thesis.
