Research On The Transformation And Development Of Veteran Cadre Work In The New Situation

At the 2016 National Advanced Collectives and Advanced Workers Commendation Conference for veteran cadres,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "Veteran cadres work bears the important task of the CPC Central Committee to care for veteran cadres,and is an important work requiring dedication and dedication”.This important instruction by General Secretary Xi fully reflects the great importance the PARTY Central Committee attaches to the work of veteran cadres and points out the way forward for the work of veteran cadres in the new situation.In the same year,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Further Strengthening and Improving the Work of Retired Cadres,which for the first time put forward the overall requirements of "actively yet prudently promoting the Transformation and development of the Work of retired cadres".Under the new situation,it is of theoretical and practical significance to study the transformation and development of veteran cadres.As an old revolutionary base area,L city is representative in the urgency of the transformation and development of veteran cadre work.The study on the transformation and development of veteran cadre work in L city has certain reference significance for relevant work in other regions.This paper USES literature analysis and questionnaire investigation,based on the theory of active aging and lifelong development theory,to the transformation of the L city cadre work development present situation has carried on the summary,studied the problems in the development of transformation,analyses the reason of the transformation in the process of development,and on this basis,puts forward the new situation to further advance the old cadre work transformation development strategyThis paper finds that the main problems in the transformation and development of the current work of veteran cadres are as follows:First,there is a lack of guiding veteran cadres to play their role;.Second,the implementation of political treatment of veteran cadres is not in place;Third,the life treatment of veteran cadres is not in place;Fourth,the supply of spiritual and cultural demand of veteran cadres is not sufficient;Fifth,the construction of veteran cadres is not in place.The reasons for these problems include:first,insufficient understanding of the importance of veteran cadres;Second,the life treatment of veteran cadres to implement the spirit of light weight;Third,there is a lack of publicity and organization in meeting spiritual and cultural needs.Fourth,the old cadre individual thought cognition has the deviation;Fifth,the mode of party building for veteran cadres is backward In order to further solve the problems in the transformation and development of the work of veteran cadres,this paper puts forward the following targeted strategies:first,further pay attention to the implementation of political treatment of veteran cadres;Second,we should further implement the living treatment of veteran cadres.Third,to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of veteran cadres;Fourth,actively guide veteran cadres to exert positive energy;Fifth,improve the comprehensive quality of veteran cadres;Sixth,we will promote voluntary services for elderly cadres in communities.
