Research On Human Rights Report Of The Tibet Daily In 2009-2019

2019 is a meaningful year.This year is the 70 th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China as well as the 60 th year of the democratic reform in Tibet Autonomous Region.For 60 years,Tibet has achieved a historic leap from feudal serfdom to socialist system,and development of society has also changed from poverty and backwardness to civilized progress,the human rights in Tibet has made progress successively for the right of subsistence and development were fully guaranteed.Paying attention to human rights situation and human rights construction from news reports is an actionable means.Therefore,from the perspective of human rights,this article takes the news frame theory as the theoretical basis for research,and takes the human rights reports of Tibet Daily from 2009 to 2019 as the research object to analyze the reporting framework and discourse strategy.This article is divided into five chapters.The introduction in Chapter 1 mainly explains the source and research ideas of the thesis,introduces the relevant literature research review,the theoretical significance and practical guidance significance of this paper.The second chapter mainly discusses the basic meaning of human rights,the human rights subjects in news reports and the human rights discourses that the news media should pay attention to.As an inalienable part of the territory of the People ’s Republic of China,Tibet ’s human rights connotation attribute is part of the development of China ’s human rights cause.Chapter 3categorizes the human rights reports of Tibet Daily by defining "narrow sense" and "broad sense" human rights reports.Then mainly select cultural education,poverty alleviation,medical and health care and religious reports four types of reports considering of the characteristics of Tibet Daily human rights reports.Chapter 4 uses the "high-middle-low" three-tier framework theory to analyze how the framework of Tibet Daily human rights report is constructed and its human rights reporting discourse strategy.Chapter 5 finally summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the Tibet Daily human rights reporting.This article finds that since 2009,the Tibet Daily human rights report has closely centered on the Party’s policies and guidelines for Tibet’s work in the new period.Tibet Daily is also more active in presenting attitudes on various human rights subject,focusing mainlyon positive publicity,with particular emphasis on people’s livelihood,society,poverty alleviation and other reports that are closely related to the people.And the characteristic distinctive discourse framework in response to public opinion questions on the "Tibetan Human Rights Issue” may accumulate a lot of valuable and effective experience for the party’s news media to carry out anti-secession propaganda reports in the new era.
