The survival rate of new start-ups is low and is affected by many factors. With the increase of the threshold of entrepreneurship and the continuous increase of costs, most start-up companies are faced with the dilemma of difficulty in obtaining funds and resources, and the emergence of makerspaces has greatly improved this situation.Legitimacy is an important condition for the survival of new ventures and is affected by the level of enterprise resource bricolage. In the case of embedding makerspaces, the service capacity of makerspaces will regulate the relationship between the two.Through combing the relevant literature, the article puts forward theoretical assumptions among variables, innovatively selects the service capacity of makerspace as the adjustment variable, and discusses the impact of the resource bricolage of new startups on their legality acquisition. This article first summarizes the relevant domestic and foreign literatures on the three variables of resource bricolage, legitimacy, and makerspaces and discusses the issues that need to be further studied, and then expounds the theoretical basis of the research in this article.Secondly, the definition and dimension of the three variables of the bricolage of new start-up enterprises in the makerspaces, the legitimacy of the new venture and the service capacity of the makerspaces were divided, and thus the construction a total of 7 latent variable theoretical models including of element bricolage, customer bricolage, system bricolage, regulatory legitimacy, normative legitimacy, cognitive legitimacy and makerspaces service capabilities, combined with qualitative research on relevant literature theory and grounded theory, relevant hypotheses are proposed. Then, this paper designs scales and rationally designs the number and content of items that should be included in each dimension, and is based on startups in the representative makerspaces of the Yangtze River Delta region obtained the sample data twice as the subject of the questionnaire survey, and conducted an exploratory factor analysis on the sample data obtained for the first time to check whether the item settings are in line with each other scale. Then conduct factor analysis, reliability and validity test on the data obtained from the second sample, through empirical research methods such as structural equation model and hierarchical regression analysis, using SPSS25.0 and AMOS23.0 software to fit andanalyze the model to test the hypotheses proposed by the model and analyze and discuss the results of the hypothesis testing in detail. The research results show that:(1)The element bricolage of new start-up companies has a significant positive effect on the legality of regulation, the legality of norms, and the legality of cognition;(2)The customer bricolage of new start-up customers has a significant positive impact on cognitive legitimacy, and no significant impact on regulatory legitimacy and normative legitimacy;(3)The system bricolage of new start-up enterprises has a significant positive impact on regulatory legitimacy, normative legitimacy, and cognitive legitimacy;(4)The capacity of makerspaces service plays a partial positive role in regulating the resource bricolage and legitimacy of new startups. Finally,on the basis of the supported hypothesis, this article puts forward corresponding suggestions for the construction of makerspaces service capacity.
