With the national policies of implementing the rural revitalization strategy(2018-2022)including "actively developing rural social work" and "introducing social work professionals" requirements,the rural social work and rural revitalization strategy are put on the agenda to assist in exploring ways to improve people’s livelihood.In recent years,with the acceleration of the urbanization process and the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,many rural parents have increased their living pressure,and have less and less communication with their children.The contradiction between parent-child communication has become increasingly prominent.During my internship in rural areas,through observation and visits,the author found that there were outstanding problems of parent-child communication between primary school students and their parents who took part in the remedial class and the 4: 30 class in village D,which mainly resulted from insufficient understanding of parent-child communication and low ability of parent-child communication.Under the background of rural revitalization strategy and rural social work support,this study takes the students and their parents who attend the remedial class and 4: 30 class in village d as the research objects,sticks to the professional concept of helping others and self-help in social work,and takes the parent-child communication system theory and empowerment theory as the guidance,conducts on-the-spot investigation on the current situation,influencing factors and parent-child communication ability in village D,and analyzes the actual needs of parent-child communication in rural families and designs social work service programs.While social work intervenes in rural families to understand parent-child communication and improve parent-child communication ability,the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention in rural areas are explored through the analysis and evaluation of the specific practical process of group work.Through the development of the group work to improve the parent-child communication ability of families in rural areas,theability of parents and children to solve parent-child communication problems by themselves is actively explored,and the expression ability and listening ability of parent-child communication are helped to be improved.Meanwhile,the group is used as a platform to build a mutual support network between families.Finally,the author summarizes and reflects on the process and results of the group’s early,middle and late development,and gives corresponding suggestions on social work intervention in rural areas.
