In recent years, with the development of urban-rural integration, the number of urban population keeps rising, but in the face of competition, living pressure and other pressures, the flow of people has become frequent. For the family, the parents, due to work and other reasons, have to work outside, leaving their children in the town where the family is located and being supervised by others, thus becoming left-behind children.Combining with community S and taking urban left-behind children as the research group,we found that compared with rural left-behind children, they have better material conditions, but they also lack emotional companionship. The complexity and seduction of the urban community environment require the value guidance of parents. These differences highlight the parent-child relationship under the situation of staying behind.First, the parent-child separation for a long time reduces the initiative of communication.Even though the content of communication is mostly focused on the children's studies, the parent-child relationship gradually becomes indifferent.Second, when children encounter difficulties or grievances, they long for their parents to come back to them. However, when children are left behind, they will doubt their parents' love for them and fail to understand and trust their parents' reasons for going out to work.Thirdly, once the parent-child conflict occurs, the conflict will not be alleviated in time due to the lack of specific scenes of parent-child activities. In the long run,the problem will accumulate, which is not conducive to the healthy physical and mental development of children and the harmonious parent-child relationship. We cannot deny our parents' love, but we ignore the maintenance of parent-child relationship when we stay behind, which leads to problems in parent-child relationship. Therefore,it is of great significance to improve parent-child relationship and children's physical and mental health that how to explore and stimulate the love and be loved betweenparents and children under the existing conditions and guide them to learn understanding, communication, trust and cooperation.Based on the internship experience in community S,the author gradually determined the team members through questionnaires and interviews. After learning about the situation, the author made a demand forecast to pave the way for the team's intervention.Supported by family system theory, social support theory, social learning theory and cognitive behavior theory, the intervention goal was gradually realized through three stages and seven activities. The first stage is to acquire verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and understand the importance of active communication and parent-child emotional transmission when staying behind. The second stage is on the basis of communication, empathy, mutual trust, mutual understanding, jointly face the objective situation of parent-child left-behind;In the third stage, the first two stages were reviewed, and the life, study or work after the group activity was completed were prospected. The group members' contact was strengthened, and the community residents were conditionally closely contacted,so as to radiate the effect of the group activity to the whole community. Finally, based on the analysis of the advantages and limitations of group practice, the author proposes Suggestions for the improvement of parent-child relationship among left-behind children in cities and towns based on the practical experience.
