| With the proposal of the national family planning policy in the 1970s,the first generation of one-child families came into being.Compared with multi child families,the miniaturization and core of the one-child family structure has led to the weakening of the traditional family pension function.Profound changes have taken place in the pension foundation of the only child parents,which also makes the only child parents face the problems of providing for the aged Financial support,life,sick care,spiritual comfort and other multiple risks,especially the pension dilemma faced by the first generation of only child parents in the city is more severe.Taking the first generation of only child parents in cities as the research object,this paper uses the method of face-to-face interview and network survey to survey the first generation of only child parents in more than 10 cities,such as Dalian,Shenyang,Qingdao and so on.A total of 338 valid questionnaires are collected,and the questionnaire data are classified and sorted accordingly.On this basis,this paper first makes a descriptive analysis of the family background of the first generation of only child parents in the city.Secondly,it makes a statistical analysis of the pension needs of the first generation of only child parents in cities from the perspective of ideal sources of financial support,ideal care and ideal spiritual comfort.Finally,we use spss24.0 data analysis software to conduct multiple logistic regression on the basis of interactive analysis results,so as to find out the significant factors that affect the pension needs of the first generation of only child parents in cities.The conclusions are as follows:first,the pension needs of the first generation of only child parents are diverse.On the whole,the first generation of only child parents in urban areas have the strongest demand for life and sick care,and their demand for spiritual comfort and economic support is increasing.Specifically,in terms of economic support needs,stable income sources such as pension and wage income are the most choices for the first generation of only child parents in cities to meet the economic needs,and property income is also an alternative source for them to obtain material satisfaction.This shows that the parents of the first generation of single children in cities have the awareness and preparation of economic self-supporting,and hope to achieve economic self-supporting In terms of material needs,spouses are usually the first choice for parents of the first generation of only children in cities to meet their care needs,which to a certain extent reflects the uniqueness of their children,which forces the first generation of only child parents to reduce their dependence on their children,thus weakening the pension responsibility of the only child;in terms of spiritual comfort demand,the first generation of only child parents in cities tend to be provided with spirit by their children support.Second,personal economic status(the main source of income)is a significant factor affecting the demand for financial support of the first generation of only child parents in cities.The first generation of urban only child parents,whose main income sources are pension,wage income and business income,have the sense of economic preparation and hope that the long-term pension life can realize economic self-support.Third,the physical condition of spouses is a significant factor affecting the care needs of the first generation of only child parents in cities.When the spouse’s physical condition is better,the parents of the first generation of only child in city tend to take care of their spouse.When the spouse’s physical condition is worse,the parents of the first generation of only child in city tend to be provided by their children.This reflects the uniqueness of children’s pension resources,prompting the first generation of urban only child parents to transfer their dependence on their children to their partners.Fourth,parents’ marital status is a significant factor affecting the spiritual comfort needs of the first generation of only child parents in cities.Having a spouse urban first generation only child parents choose their spouses or themselves to meet their spiritual comfort needs,while No spouse urban first generation only child parents prefer their children’s care.Fifthly,intergenerational living mode is a significant factor affecting the demand of the first generation of only child parents in urban areas.The parents of the first generation of only child in the city who live with each other are more likely to choose their children to meet their economic,care and spiritual comfort needs.Generally speaking,the endowment security of the first generation of only child parents is closely related to the intergenerational living style.Based on the conclusions,this paper puts forward some relevant countermeasures and suggestions:first,to improve the one-child parents’ pension provision,to help the elderly with high quality;two,to promote the availability of home-based care services through the community as the carrier;three,to inherit the cream of filial piety culture and to enhance family support function;four,to encourage the generation to live or live together,and to reinventing the new
