Study On The Choice Of Parental Support Patterns Of Only-child Parents And Its Influencing Factors

With the aging phenomenon increasing,the proportion of the elderly population is rising,and the aging of the population has become a social phenomenon that is highly concerned social phenomenon throughout the country.The implementation of the one-child policy has reduced the fertility rate of our population and is one of the important reasons for the aging of the population.According to statistics,the total number of single-child children in the country has exceeded 145 million,and the only child families that are formed are facing or will face unprecedented old-age care dilemma.The only child family has natural structural defects,showing the characteristics of miniaturization,coreization,and empty nest.The family support of only-child parents is unique,so compared with non-only-child families,only-child families face more severe challenges in the elderly care of their parents.This paper systematically analyzes the endowment problems of the only child families by combing the relevant literature research results of the choice of the old-age children’s family pension model and its influencing factors at home and abroad,combined with the theory of demand hierarchy,family life cycle theory,social exchange theory and active aging theory.Analyze the cause of the problem.The Lixia District of Jinan City was selected as the case analysis object,and the parents of the only child in the area were selected as the survey objects.The main survey method was mainly used for questionnaire survey.The in-depth interview method was used for individual survey subjects,and the data collected first was sorted and described.Sexual statistics,followed by the correlation analysis of the factors affecting the choice of the old-age family’s pension model,and the influencing factors were summarized into three aspects: personal factors,social factors and family factors,finally choose to have the correlation factors included in the regression model analysis.The empirical results show that: among individual factors,gender,age,education level and monthly average income have a significant impact on the choice of family pension model and social pension model for the only child parents.Age,education level and health status have significant influence on the choice of family pension mode andself-pension mode.Among the family factors,the housing style has a significant influence on the choice of the family pension mode and the social pension mode of the only-child parents.The gender and living style of the children have significant influence on the choice of the family supporting mode and the self-supporting mode of the only-child parents.Among the social factors,endowment insurance and the concept of raising children for old age have significant influence on the choice of the family endowment mode and the self-endowment mode of the only-child parents.According to the above empirical analysis,draw the relevant conclusions.Based on the existing research conclusions,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and Suggestions of continuing to play the main role of family pension,making full use of social pension and advocating self-pension.
