Study On The Urban Traffic Problem Of Third-tier Cities From The Perspective Of Supply And Demand

Since entering the 21st century,facing the dual challenge of urbanization and motorization,with traffic jams,traffic violations and frequent traffic accidents,the phenomenon such as parking difficulty for the performance of the contradiction between supply and demand of urban traffic is no longer a second-tier cities "patent" and"characteristic",many cities traffic contradiction between supply and demand has been increasingly highlighted,triggered the cost,safety,environment,and many other urgent problems in today’s society.Taishan District is the third-tier city Tai ’an,the resident of the municipal party committee,the municipal government,is the Tai’an City political center,economic center,transportation center;At present,the comprehensive transportation system is not perfect,and it relies heavily on road traffic.Traffic problems in Tai’an City cities have been quite serious and have been listed on the national list of"congested cities" for many times.Urban traffic problems such as traffic congestion,frequent traffic accidents and parking difficulties have seriously affected residents’ daily life.In recent years,Taishan District has taken measures such as improving road infrastructure,giving priority to the development of public transportation,and promoting civilized transportation,which have achieved certain results,but the urban traffic problems have not been fundamentally solved.In this paper,according to "theory research-current situation analysis---problem analysis---experience learning---countermeasures to explore" the thinking of system research,supply and demand to public product theory,theory,the overall government theory as the theoretical basis,using the field survey method,questionnaire method and system analysis method,to Tai’an City tai shan district as the research object,from the supply of city road,transport supplies,static traffic supply three aspects analyzes the supply condition of urban traffic;The spatial distribution of urban trafic demand is"centripetal" and the temporal distribution of "tidal phenomenon" is obvious,and the total traffic demand is predicted.The paper analyzes the performance of the contradiction between supply and demand of urban traffic,and points out that the urbanization process and the increasing dependence on motorized travel modes lead to the increasing demand of traffic in third-tier cities.On the other hand,the traffic foundation is weak,the traffic management level is low and the traffic supply is limited.The contradiction between them is the essential cause of urban traffic problems.This paper introduces the measures taken by three foreign and domestic third-tier cities to improve the efficiency of urban transportation,and on this basis puts forward measures to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of third-tier cities by promoting the reform of large traffic management system and strengthening the management of traffic demand.This study can broaden the depth and breadth of public management theory in the application of urban traffic,promote the improvement and development of related theoretical systems;It can also provide a reference for the planning and traffic management of the third-tier urban traffic system.
