The Dilemma Of National Reconstruction Of Afghanistan

As a nation-state in the Middle East,Afghanistan has always been affected by external forces in the process of national construction due to its special geographical position.The regime has changed several times.The latest regime overthrow was due to the Afghan War,when the United States overthrew the Taliban regime and started the reconstruction process of the country again.The new Afghan government has adopted Western democratic political systems.It has held democratic elections,reformed its governance,adopted a market economy,and tried to set itself on a path of rapid development.But it has not gone as smoothly as expected.Although on the surface of finished democracy political structure,but power is still in accordance with the ethnic division,the distribution of the early stage of economic development due to the large amount of financial aid,showing a rapid development of illusion,in cutting aid after a sharp drop in economic growth,and in the history of ethnic identity and construction of entanglement has prevented the sense of national identity.Until 2011,after years of operating in Afghanistan with no return,the United States proposed withdrawing its troops,leaving a chaotic Afghanistan that has yet to form a central government that can maintain order and centralize power.Therefore,the research on the reconstruction of the nation state of Afghanistan is not only of great practical significance and can provide reference for the construction of other nation states,but also of certain academic value.This paper makes a systematic analysis of the challenges of national state reconstruction in Afghanistan from three dimensions of state,market and society,and explores the main challenges in the reconstruction process of Afghanistan.Article mainly divides into five parts,the first part mainly combs the current research status at home and abroad and the research value,and the research train of thought and theory framework,the second part is mainly the related concepts,the third part is the construction of the Afghan national,the fourth part combed the Afghan reconstruction process after 2001,the fifth part mainly respectively from the state,market,The challenge of reconstruction in Afghanistan is analyzed in three dimensions of society.The last part is the conclusion and inspiration of the study.Finally,the main reason why the reconstruction of Afghanistan is in trouble is the lack of national capacity and the fragmentation of local warlords.As a result,the government cannot provide public goods effectively,and the imperfect market system leads to slow economic development.The inability of the public to obtain public goods from the government to establish contact,and the inability to accumulate property in the chaotic economic order,led to the slow construction of national identity consciousness,and ultimately hindered the reconstruction process of the national state in Afghanistan.
