Research On Ethnic Groups And Ethnic Issues In Afghanistan

Afghanistan has been a multi-ethnic State the Soviet invasion of 1978.The ethnic community has entered a difficult period of constant war and turmoil,causing serious ethnic groups conflicts and plaguing Afghan society's efforts toward national reconciliation and national reconstruction.The paper is based on Afghanistan,where the eight major ethnic groups including the Pashtun,Tajik,Hazara,Uzbek,Aymaq,Turkmen,Baloch and Nuristani are introduced and described.From the perspective of Afghanistan,the author has carried out a preliminary analysis and exploration of contemporary ethnic differences in the region,ethnic politics and their structures,different domestic situations between the Taliban and Karzai regimes and the national reconciliation process.Some progress has been made toward national reconciliation in Afghanistan,such as efforts of the 2010 National peaceful Loya Jirga to the National Peace Council and New Afghanistan Peace and Settlement(APRP),in 2018,the Afghan government proposed peace talks to the Taliban that are currently in the process of ending the war in Afghanistan.Propose peace talks and peace talks that are currently in the process of ending the war in Afghanistan.However,due to more than 40 years of war,there are many conflicts among ethnic groups(tribes)in Afghanistan.The political reconciliation effects between ethnic groups(tribes)still requires the current Afghan government,major political parties and armed personnel,and major ethnic groups(tribes)Leaders,as well as the international community,to continue to build consensus,and only on this basis can national reconciliation be realized.
