| In the 1990s,Kimberle Crenshaw clearly put forward the concept of"intersectionality",which is an analysis paradigm of the intersecting relationship between gender, race, class and other identity characteristics, aiming to clarify how women’s marginalization experiences and predicaments are caused by the superposition of those multiple identities. As a new and powerful analytical framework for feminism theory,it plays an important role in promoting gender equality and paying attention to minority groups.Since 2015,the issue of refugees in Europe has become the focus of attention, and Europe is facing the biggest refugee crisis since World War Ⅱ.Among the refugee groups that continue to flow into Europe, nearly half of the refugee population is made up of women. In armed conflicts, violence against women is rampant. In the country of origin of refugee women, rape and other forms of torture are often used as war strategies.Refugee women face risks of human trafficking during the transit process. The refugee policy of the host country also discriminates against refugee women on the basis of gender. Therefore,it is particularly important to think about the refugee issue from gender perspective.More and more studies have proved that fully aware of the special experience of refugee women groups can not only promote the development of refugee women themselves, but also promote the solution of refugee problems.Refugee women are an important part of the refugee group. They have the dual identities of "refugee" and"female".The combination of these two identities makes the experience of refugee women different from that of refugee men.In addition to sharing "gender" identities, refugee women’s groups also belong to social structures based on other identities, such as race, age, and economic status. These social structures will have multiple permutations and combinations to influence and shape their experiences during the countries of origin, transit and host.In conclusion, the marginalized situation that refugee women suffer is shaped by their social identity, and these dilemmas are both cross-cutting causes and cross-cutting results. In order to properly solve the plight of refugee women, the international community and Europe have also adopted practical actions to protect refugee women.Based on The 1951 Refugee Convention and its 1967 Protocol, the greatest improvement has been made to refugee women. In order to end the violation of the fundamental rights of refugee women and girls.Paying attention to the disadvantaged groups under the overlapping effects of multiple categories, and build a truly equal gender order. |
