The Impact Of Rural Tourism Development On Rural Women

With the proposal of the Revitalization Strategy of the No.1 central document,the awakening of women’s self-consciousness and the prominent female problems,the gradual increase of the value of tourism and the special relationship between rural tourism and women’s development,which has promoted the tourism industry as an important means of Rural Revitalization and rural transformation,and has brought a new way of development for rural tourism purposes.More and more rural women participate in the development of rural tourism.This study provides a theoretical basis for the community to formulate measures to encourage and support women to participate in tourism and planning,and to integrate more women’s care into the tourism community.Through the literature review,it is found that the literature research theory of women in rural tourism in foreign countries has basically become a system,while the domestic research is relatively weak,and the research on the impact of rural tourism development on community women is rarely involved.This paper is an empirical study based on this theme,trying to study the changes of local rural women’s behavior after the development of rural tourism in northern,central and Southern Ningxia and the impact of tourism on their perception.By using the methods of literature analysis,interview,questionnaire and on-the-spot interview,qualitative and quantitative analysis,comparative analysis,and pre investigation and formal investigation,213 valid questionnaires were obtained.Through empirical analysis,the main conclusions are as follows:first,rural women agree with the economic benefits,power status,social and cultural positive perception,emotional and psychological positive perception in the process of rural tourism development,among which the social and cultural positive perception has the greatest impact on women.Second,women’s ideas have been improved,communication space has been expanded,communication ability has been enhanced,family roles and social roles have changed,but also increased the conflict between women’s family and social roles.Although the role of rural women in the community is significantly lower than that of men,women have a higher perception of the impact of rural tourism development.Third,women’s willingness to participate in tourism development is strong,but their ability to participate is obviously insufficient.Women with low self-efficacy also have low expectation of tourism development.Fourth,the influence of women with different levels of participation is different.The impact of women’s participation in tourism is greater in function than in spirit and family,among which family is the weakest.However,the influence of women who did not participate in tourism was stronger than that of family and function,and the function was the weakest.On the basis of this conclusion,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions and development expectations for rural women’s participation in tourism in the future,trying to realize the self value of rural women in participating in tourism,so as to correctly deal with the practical problems encountered in tourism planning,and promote the high quality and sustainable development of rural tourism.
