Mao Zedong’s Ideological And Political Education Theory And Its Contemporary Revelation

Mao Zedong is a firm Marxist believer and a practitioner of Marxism.After Marxism was introduced into China,he combined it with the specific reality of China and formed a sinicized Marxism,which is Mao Zedong Thought.Mao Zedong’s ideological and political education theory is an important part of Mao Zedong Thought.It was formed during the second revolutionary civil war and matured during the anti-japanese war.Mao Zedong’s ideological and political education theory played an important role in the period of Chinese Revolutionary war and socialist construction.It has important implications for ideological and political education in the new period.This paper studies Mao Zedong’s theory of ideological and political education by means of horizontal,vertical and horizontal research methods.Starting from the historical track of formation,this paper summarize the formation of Mao Zedong’s ideological and political education theory,then evaluates the value system formed by Mao Zedong’s ideological and political education theory and excavates the contemporary enlightenment.the fundamental purpose of studying Mao zedong’s ideological and political education theory is to further improve the effectiveness of our ideological and political education in the new era.The first part is the origin of Mao Zedong Thought’s political education theory are elaborated.The second part mainly combs the emergence and development of Mao Zedong Thought’s political education theory,which is divided into germination,emergence,development,maturity,and deepening.Against the backdrop of the international and domestic environment,Mao Zedong Thought’s theory of political education emerged and gradually developed,until the theory of political education of Mao Zedong Thought entered a mature stage during the War of Resistance Against Japan,after which the war of liberation succeeded in establishing a new China and transitioning to socialism.Mao Zedong Thought’s political education theory did not stop in the period of socialist construction,but continued to deepen its development.The third part mainly expounds the value system of Mao Zedong Thought’s political education theory,which is divided into three aspects: the purposedirection,the value orientation and the practice method.In the direction of purpose,there are communism,for the benefit of the people,and serving the people;In terms of content,there are ideals and beliefs education,Party rectification education,situation policy education,patriotism and love of social education;Among the practical methods,there are mainly model demonstrations,extensive publicity,persuasion education and research investigations.The fourth part is the practical enlightenment of Mao Zedong Thought’s political education theory.It mainly focuses on strengthening the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field,clarifying the theoretical value orientation of ideological and political education in the new era,mobilizing forces to innovate ideological and political education methods,and actively implementing the ideological and political education theory in the new period.
