With the development of urbanization,the rural population has gradually flowed to the cities,and the population living in the rural areas has been greatly reduced.The decrease in population has increased the difficulty of basic education in rural areas.Rural basic education,as a guaranteed education,has an extraordinary significance,and it is the bottom line for the full implementation of compulsory education in our country.The development of basic education in rural areas has played a leading role in improving the quality of the whole people,and at the same time is a strong backing for rural revitalization.The development of rural areas has been lagging behind that of cities and towns,so basic education in rural areas is much weaker than that in cities and towns.The task of teaching in rural schools is heavy,because there are few practical activities that can be carried out and the difficulty of education is relatively large.Rural basic education is facing a great test in today’s continuous development of urbanization.At present,rural schools in most areas of our country have problems such as gradual shrinking of school scale,insufficient education funds,lack of teachers,uneven distribution of teaching resources,and incomplete curriculum development.These problems have severely hindered the development of rural education and have deepened the gap between urban and rural education.In the context of urbanization development,this article takes Pingyao County in Shanxi Province as the research object.Pingyao County strives to move towards balanced development in education,actively implements relevant policies,and follows the trend of education development,promotes the reform of county management school employment management,continuously improves the management level of the school,and strives for steady progress in the quality of teaching,but Pingyao County There are still many problems in rural basic education.Based on field research,this article summarizes and analyzes the problems faced by Pingyao ’ s rural basic education in schools,students,and teachers.It points out that in the context of urbanization,the rural population has been greatly reduced,which has led to the shrinkage of rural schools and resources.Waste,inadequate planning of rural schools and weak resource integration;there are many left-behind children in rural areas and lack of family education;outstanding teachers are unwilling to go to rural areas,and there is little room for development of rural teachers.Considering these reasons,combining actuality,and making targeted and dialectical strategies,and working together to solve the problems faced by rural basic education,such as playing the role of relevant government departments,rationally planning and deploying rural schools,increasing investment in rural schools,and rationally distributing education Resources,pay more attention to rural students and teachers,strengthen communication and exchanges between urban and rural schools,help rural teachers grow,and other aspects to help rural basic education,and provide impetus for the sustainable development of rural basic education.
