Study On The Problem And Countermeasures Of The Spiritual Consolation For The Old Widowed In Rural Areas

With the aging of our population,the old-age security of the elderly has gradually attracted the attention of the government.In order to solve the current problem of old-age security in China,we should start from two aspects,on the one hand,to ensure the increasing material demand for the elderly,on the other hand,to ensure the spiritual needs of the elderly.As an advanced demand based on material demand,spiritual demand is a necessity of daily life of the elderly group,especially the widowed elderly group,which is directly related to their survival and quality of life.The rural population is aging,the economic development is slow,the young population flows to the city in large numbers,and the rural areas are more vulnerable in the face of the spiritual comfort of the widowed elderly.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to analyze and study the spiritual comfort of the widowed elderly in rural areas to promote the harmony and stability of rural society and family and to enhance the happiness and satisfaction of the widowed elderly in their old age.A study on the mental comfort and countermeasures of the rural widowed elderly is focused on the widowed elderly aged 60 and above in H Village,Shangqiu City,Henan Province.An in-depth interview was conducted with the widowed elderly in H village.The first chapter describes the background and significance of the research topic,literature review,related theories and concepts,as well as research methods and innovations.The second chapter analyzes the present situation of the mental comfort of the rural widowed elderly.Chapter three expounds the problems existing in the spiritual comfort of the widowed elderly in H village of Shangqiu City,Henan Province and explores the corresponding reasons.The existing problems are that the mental needs of the rural widowed elderly can not be effectively satisfied,the pressure of spiritual comfort is great,the supply subject is single,and the spiritual and cultural life is monotonous.The reasons behind these problems are mainly explained from the following four aspects: one is personal reasons,including physical aging and weak psychological tolerance,the other is family reasons,including the lack of children’s companionship and the conflict between children and parents.The fourth chapter is a summary of the experience of spiritual comfort abroad,including Korea,Japan,Europe,America and Singapore.The fifth chapter discusses the countermeasures,one is to encourage the rural widowed elderly to take care of themselves,including cultivating their interests,enhancing their ability to take care of themselves and changing the concept of remarriage,the other is to attach importance to the supporting role of family and neighborhood relations in spiritual comfort,including encouraging children to increase visiting frequency and neighborhood mutual assistance,and the third is to strengthen the village committee’s support for spiritual comfort,including strengthening rural infrastructure construction,carrying out various forms of activities and lectures,promoting the culture of respecting and respecting the elderly,and fourth,perfecting relevant laws and regulations,including increasing policy subsidies to related enterprises,establishing spiritual comfort assessment standards,and protecting the legal rights and interests of the elderly.The sixth chapter is the research summary,the research insufficiency and the prospect.
