| Recruiting college graduates to work in rural areas is an important strategic measure for the party and the state to strengthen the construction of grassroots cadres and consolidate the party’s ruling foundation at the grassroots level,which effectively makes up for the talent gap in the vast rural areas.The implementation of Rural Revitalization Strategy puts forward higher requirements for college student village officials.How to ensure that college student village officials can stay,do well and flow well in rural areas has become the top priority of this grass-roots talent training project.Based on the requirements of rural work in the new era and from the perspective of competency,this study explores the competency of college student village officials under the background of rural revitalization,in order to provide policy suggestions for improving the competency construction of college student village officials.Under the guidance of competency related theories,this research takes the behavior event interview method,questionnaire survey and other research methods,and then takes the college student village officials in M County as the specific research object,deeply excavates the competency characteristics of college student village officials,and constructs the competency model structure of college student village officials on this basis.The research is mainly divided into five steps: first,through the behavioral event interview method,combined with the comparison between excellent college student village officials and ordinary college student village officials,the main contents of the competency of college student village officials are obtained,and a total of 17 competency characteristics are obtained in this study;second,based on the difference analysis between the excellent group and the general group,through the comparison of frequency,average level,the highest level and other aspects Finally,the specific structure of the competency model of college student village officials is formed,including 5 core competencies and 12 general competencies;thirdly,17 competencies are summarized into 4 competencies by factor analysis of the data of questionnaire survey and prediction test,and the importance of each competency is determined by ranking the competency under each competency;fourthly,the residents of M county are selected to evaluate the competency of college student village officials By comparing the results of the questionnaire survey with the competency model,we can find the lack of competency of college student village officials.Fifthly,based on the problems existing in the competency of college student village officials,this paper puts forward specific policy suggestions to enhance the competency of college student village officials from the perspective of selection,employment,training and performance appraisal.The improvement of college student village officials’ comprehensive quality is a systematic problem,which involves all aspects of college students themselves and the surrounding environment.This study only provides a perspective from the perspective of competency,and there are still many imperfections.The purpose of this study is to help college student village officials in M County improve their competency,and at the same time,to provide new ideas for the broader group of college student village officials in China to strengthen themselves and strengthen the service ability at the grassroots level. |
