The improvement of China’s patent distribution in the countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” will not only help to reverse normalized trade deficit in intellectual property rights, but also help China shorten the time to upgrade from a major patent country to a world patent power.Firstly,by collecting China’s patent statistical data in the countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”,this thesis analyzes the achievements and shortcomings of China’s patent distribution based on the Qualitative Research Methods and the Quantitative Research Methods.Secondly, this thesis uses the SWOT Analysis Method to comprehensively analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of China’s patent distribution in countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”.Then, this thesis builds China’s patent distribution performance evaluation model in the countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”.On the basis of the Bench-marking Method, the patent distribution evaluation indicators of major patent countries in the countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” are compared horizontally and vertically.By comparison the gap between China and other major patent countries is found, and improving ideas of patent distribution in countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” are formed. Finally, this thesis proposes countermeasure suggestions for China’s patent distribution in countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”.Thereafter, the performance evaluation model can be used to evaluate the perfection of patent distribution, and the level of patent distribution can be continuously improved in the horizontal and vertical comparison.
