Study On Emergency Management Of Student Safety Emergencies In Private Colleges And Universities

Private colleges and universities in China have gone through the development process of more than 30 years,especially in the last ten years,the scale and quantity of private colleges and universities have been significantly improved,which promotes the optimization and allocation of higher education resources and provides effective higher education services.MK College was founded in 2001 as a private university.Approved by the Ministry of Political Science of the Peo ple’s Republic of China and the Fujian Provincial Government,it is a full-time undergraduate college of higher education.In Quanzhou,Fujian Province,MK College was the first privately run independent university.However,in the process of the developme nt of colleges and universities,student safety emergencies happen from time to time,which brings severe challenges to the management and operation of colleges and universities.In this paper,4R crisis management theory is introduced,literature analysis,questionnaire,case analysis,multi-form interview and other methods are adopted to carry out in-depth investigation on student safety emergencies in MK College,so as to clarify the causes of these incidents and analyze their problems and types.Through the analysis,it is found that student safety emergencies in MK College are of diverse types,including campus management,public health,social,psychological problems and campus law violations in addition to force majeure such as natural disasters.When MK college is aimed at these incidents,there are more problems,such as the lack of effective advance warning,emergency management mechanism is not perfect,inadequate manning,response speed,low efficiency for emergent problems,crisis recovery method is limited,such as minor,fundamentally,the occurrence of safety emergency,is the result of comprehensive shaping of many factors,it involves multiple levels students,school and society.Based on the 4R theory,scientific countermeasures are proposed.For the reduction force stage,it is necessary to pay attention to the establishment and strengthening of crisis awareness,the construction of emergency organization,and the level of guarantee.In the stage of preparedness,attention should be paid to the operation and implementation of emergency plans,and crisis training and exercise should be promoted,focusing on the level of prevention system.In response stage,attention should be paid to the construction of information communication channels,and efficient and reliable decision-making channels and processing channels should be shaped,focusing on the disposal level.For the stage of resilience,it is required to carry out effective psychological intervention for students,strengthen the recovery work,and evaluate and improve the effect,focusing on the level of recovery system.Based on the above measures,we should strengthen the crisis control ability of private colleges and universities and escort their steady development.
