Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Emergency Management In Private Colleges And Universities Under The New Media Environment

With the rapid development of Internet information technology,more and more people begin to obtain the information they need through the Internet,and use it as one of the main ways of their daily leisure and entertainment.In recent years,under the influence of new media reports,the exposure rate of unexpected events in universities has greatly increased,which has aroused great attention from all sectors of society.At the same time,some media reports and negative publicity often lead to changes in the development of events.It is more complicated and the phenomenon of social publicity is very serious.Therefore,this paper takes "4R" crisis management theory as an analytical tool to analyze in depth the problems existing in emergency handling in colleges and universities in the context of new media,and points out that under the current emergency management mechanism in colleges and universities,the school's unresponsiveness and improper disposal methods can easily lead to negative student reactions.Emotions,thus burying new campus hidden dangers,from the long-term point of view,are unfavorable to the construction and development of higher education in China.During the study,this paper mainly uses literature research and case analysis,through the collected more typical campus emergencies in recent years,according to the type,forming reason,main characteristic of these events were analyzed in detail,pointing out the emergencies of private colleges and universities in China under the new media environment.There are some problems in emergency management,such as weak ability of prevention and prediction,low operability of emergency plans,insufficient information disclosure and lack of public opinion guidance.To solve these problems,it is necessary to improve prevention and prediction,formulation of emergency plans,information disclosure,public opinion guidance and post-event recovery in emergency management.To help private colleges and universities use limited educational resources to build a sound emergency management mechanism,in order to effectively improve the ability of colleges and universities to deal with emergencies,but also for school managers to formulate more scientific decision-making information to provide a strong practical basis.
