Research On The Present Situation And Optimal Path Of The Construction Of Urban Elderly Friendly Community

In the 21 st century,the problem of aging population is a worldwide population problem.With the rapid development of population aging and the gradual miniaturization of family size and structure,the demand for old-age care services has increased sharply.However,in China,the supply is limited in servicing for the aged,the government is exploring a model of combining medical and nursing services.Home-based care for the aged has become the main elderly care service model in china.Due to the economic growth and urbanization process,it is obviously that the problem of aging discomfort has become more serious in some respects,which conclude living environment,infrastructure,community services,community governance and other ways of old communities.Old communities are served as the place where the urban elderly are gathering,it is extremely urgent to adapt the need for old-age.How to build the elderly friendly community through the transformation of community infrastructure to satisfy the old people’s diverse needs in urban communities is a problem that needs to be solved.Compared with general communities,elderly friendly community is based on“ elderly-friendly” concept,and infiltrate into community construction,service and governance links.Supported by sound infrastructure facilities,diversified service supply and harmonious atmosphere of respecting and caring for the elderly,we will build an environment suitable for sustainable development for the elderly,and build a friendly community that is co-built,co-managed and shared,and suitable for the life of all age groups.This reflects the spirit of humanistic care for the elderly,and is also a new form of community governance.Taking the reconstruction of old communities as the research object,the study finds that there are many problems in the construction of elderly friendly communities in Xiangtan city.Such as the lack of public infrastructure and the lag in transform reconstruction for the elderly;the simplicity of community service content and the backward of supporting service facilities;the lower motivation of the older people’s participation and the insufficient effective participation.The main causes of these problems are the policy restriction,the capital shortage;the lack of team;the weak awareness and other fields.Based on the above issues,this article will propose the following measures.Clarifying the leadership position of the government and giving strong policy support;encouraging the participation of multiple subjects and increasing the supply of old-age services;strengthening platform construction and improving the comprehensive elderly care service system;playing the elderly’s role in modern life and offering a favorable atmosphere for aging society.
