Research On The Management Of Community Correction In W County Zhejiang Province

The rapid development of my country’s economy and culture has led to the emergence of a new type of punishment execution method of community correction.It is different from the previous execution methods of imprisonment.It is a management system that allows criminals to return to society and uses social resources to educate and reform criminals.As a national management mechanism for special populations,community corrections management has been developed in China for nearly 20 years.After a long period of practice,it has been proved that this management measure effectively makes up for the shortcomings of imprisonment,and the output effect directly affects social stability and benefits all members of society.It has become a classic example of current social public management in my country.For more than ten years,a series of achievements have been made in the management of community corrections in W County,Zhejiang Province,but there are still many difficulties and problems that need to be solved.Based on this,the author established the research topic of community correction management in W County,Zhejiang Province.By collecting domestic and foreign documents,retrieving platform system data,conducting interviews with relevant personnel,and issuing questionnaires,it is found that W County faces multiple difficulties in the process of community corrections management,such as difficulties in the construction of the main body of the management team,and the connection of departments.Obstacles,backward information management methods,and insufficient participation of social forces have seriously affected the further development of the community correction work in County W.Therefore,based on the actual situation of W County,this paper applies the collaborative governance theory,new public management theory and social governance theory to the research of community correction management from the perspective of public management.Targeted countermeasures are put forward for the existing problems,and it is suggested that W County should eliminate the current obstacles to the development of W County’s community correction management work by strengthening the professional construction of community correction management subjects,improving the connection of agency functions,expanding community correction publicity work,and establishing an information platform.problem.Through this article,the author hopes to summarize the theoretical achievements and operational models in practice,provide help for the improvement and progress of community corrections management,provide reference for local government decision-making,and better build a society ruled by law.
