Research On The Demand Of Shanghai Community Empty Nest Elderly Care Service

The elderly care services for the empty-nest elderly are an important area of elderly support.With the improving of our country’s aging degree,and the miniaturization of family is more size and the intensification of population mobility,the number of empty-nest elderly is increasing.Due to the lack of support from family members,empty-nest elderly have more needs for elderly care services than ordinary elderly people.Shanghai is an international metropolis.It is a symbol of urban civilization to meet the needs of empty-nest elderly care services and improve the happiness of empty-nest elderly.Therefore,in-depth research on the needs of elderly care services for the empty-nest elderly in the community,exploring the peculiarities of the needs of the empty-nest elderly,analyzing existing problems,and improving the accuracy and effectiveness of elderly care services for the empty-nest elderly in the community have important practical application value.The thesis takes the needs of the empty-nest elderly in the community as the research object,uses the hierarchy of needs theory,welfare pluralism theory and the new public service theory as the analysis framework,and uses descriptive statistics,cross-analysis,Kano model and ordered regression analysis methods,Carry out in-depth research from four dimensions.First,through the analysis of the main body of the empty-nest elderly in the community,the specificity of the content and structure of the needs of elderly care services,and the level of needs,it reveals the peculiarities of the needs of the elderly in the empty-nest elderly in Shanghai.Secondly,use descriptive statistics and cross-tabular analysis to further study the current empty-nest elderly’s overall satisfaction with community care services,the satisfaction of different service items,and the satisfaction of empty-nest elderly with different characteristics.Thirdly,with the help of an ordered regression model,using the information collected from actual surveys,analyze the factors affecting the satisfaction of the elderly care services for the empty-nest elderly in Shanghai communities,and analyze the problems that exist in the satisfaction of the needs of the elderly care services in Shanghai based on the above research,and analyze these problems’ s reason.Finally,from the three aspects of the demand guidance mechanism of the empty-nest elderly,the accuracy and effectiveness of the elderly care services,a path to improve the satisfaction of the elderly’s elderly care needs in the Shanghai community is proposed.The research came to the following conclusions: There are differences in the demand for elderly care services between the empty nest elderly,non-empty nest elderly and empty nest elderly,and their needs are hierarchical;Due to the unclear attributes of the elderly care services and the single supply subject,the elderly care services for the empty nest elderly in Shanghai communities cannot fully meet the needs;The particularity of the main body of the empty-nest elderly and the differences in their needs have led to obvious differences in their satisfaction with community elderly care services among different service items;The different characteristics of the empty-nest elderly have a certain influence on the satisfaction of demand;To improve the satisfaction of the community’s empty-nest elderly elderly care service needs,not only should focus on the accuracy and effectiveness of the service,but also guide the needs of the empty-nest elderly and increase the explicit demand,to promote the rationalization of demand.
