Accompanied by the late 1970’s reform and opening up,the advancement of urbanization and industrialization,the problem of the migrant workers’ employment,the new work force,which has been in the level of "problem research" for a long time.Migrant workers have emerged in the social reform and transformation,a large number of them shift from rural areas to urban areas.With the passage of time,the migrant workers gradually appear differentiation,generational change phenomenon,the new generation of migrant workers have gradually replaced the previous workers,become the backbone of the industry.Their employment development situation has the characteristics and trends of the new era.But because of the absence of constraints,the labor market competition by the dual economic structure and the limitation of city living space.The new generation of migrant workers stay in "marginalization" embarrassing situation,so it is difficult to really integrate into the city society,thus hindering employment encountered.Compared with the first generation of migrant workers,the current employment of the younger workers have showed two characteristics: high mobility and low level.The new generation of migrant workers change jobs frequently in order to obtain a better employment conditions,so they can not be a stable situation in a fixed position.In 2010,Acftu launched a topic and the research work for new generation migrant workers’ problem.The results showthat,compared with the previous generation of migrant workers,the employment stability of new generation of migrant workers is even worse.The average change in the frequency of their work is 2.9 times as mush as the traditional migrant workers.This trend will not only affect the overall operation of the enterprise management,smooth upgrading of industrial structure,but also is not conducive to the development of the new generation of migrant workers.Therefore,how to guide the new generation of migrant workers to stabilize employment is of great significance to build a harmonious market economy.This study put the new generation of migrant workers in Shanghai as the research object,the stability of employment as the research content.First of all,based on reading related literature at home and abroad,define concepts of the new generation of migrant workers,employment stability and other related concepts.Secondly based on the Delphi method to determine the index of stability of employment of the new generation of migrant workers and the proportion of each index.Moreover,through the questionnaire survey,comparative analysis and other methods,according to the combination of qualitative and quantitative principles,based on field survey data,the paper described the characteristics of the new generation of migrant workers’ employment behavior briefly,compared with the last generation of migrant workers,further research the current situation of the new generation of migrant workers employment in Shanghai.Then we found that the new generation of migrant workers have main problems in employment,which affect their employment stability in a certain extent.On this basis,we build binary logit model by SPSS17.0 software.We finally get the factors which affect the employment stability of the new generation of migrant workers.Then explain and discuss the results of regression combined with the actual situation of the questionnaire.Research shows that age,household registration,identity and development prospects,the degree of master skills,living conditions,social security,income level,job satisfaction,work plan have a significant impact onemployment stability of the new generation migrant workers.At last,the regression results are explained and discussed in combination with the specific information obtained from the questionnaire,put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects of the government,enterprises,cenozoic migrant workers.In order to effectively solve the employment problem of the new generation of migrant workers in Shanghai,improve the stability of employment,so as to maintain social harmony and stability.
