With the continuous advancement of the new urbanization process,a large number of new generation of migrant workers have entered the city and become the main body of the labor market,making great contributions to the construction and development of China's cities.The new generation of migrant workers came to the city to live and develop on the basis of the need for stable employment,otherwise they are difficult to integrate into the city or even settle in the city,so it is crucial to solve the employment problem of the new generation of migrant workers.In order to understand the situation of the stable employment of the new generation of migrant workers,and the stability of employment has no effect on the willingness of the city to settle,this paper has carried out in-depth research on these issues.This study takes the new generation of migrant workers as the research object,studies the basic situation of employment stability,and the mechanism of employment stability on the willingness of urban settlement.Based on the mechanism of interaction between the two,a binary logistic regression model and a propensity-weighted logistic regression model were established.The individual questionnaire data in the 2016 China Labor Dynamics Survey data of Sun Yat-sen University was used to empirically study the employment stability of the new generation of migrant workers.The impact of will and the extent of its impact.Through the analysis of the sample data of the new generation of migrant workers,it is found that in terms of employment,the total number of job au pair is concentrated in two to three times,that is,their employment situation is relatively stable;the employment stability and overall situation of the new generation of migrant workers under different characteristics The analysis is more consistent.In terms of the willingness to settle,most of the new generation of migrant workers have the willingness to settle in the city,and the new generation of migrant workers under different group characteristics have different willingness to settle;the correlation matrix analysis shows that employment stability has a significant willingness to settle in the city.Impact,the gender in the control variables,the number of years ofeducation,the type of industry,the level of mutual assistance are also significantly related to the willingness of the city to settle,and the six variables of age,marital status,familiarity,certificate,monthly salary,contract and urban settlement The correlation of will is not significant.In order to further verify the impact of employment stability on urban settlement intention,this paper uses the ordinary binary logistic regression model and the propensity-weighted logistic regression model to conduct empirical analysis.The two regression results show that the core variables employment stability settles in the city.Will has a significant positive impact.By studying the relationship between employment stability and urban settlement willingness,it can provide certain reference value for the new generation of migrant workers to integrate into the city.On the basis of the previous empirical analysis,the following three countermeasures and suggestions are put forward: to improve the human capital of the new generation of migrant workers,to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the new generation of migrant workers,and to improve the employment service level and the degree of social communication of the new generation of migrant workers.
